Male Breast Reduction

Men suffering from gynecomastia—a swelling of the breast tissue caused by an imbalance of estrogen and testosterone, also known as “man boobs” or “gyno”—can benefit from a Male Chest Reconstruction procedure, which not only removes the excess tissue in the breast area and the surrounding skin but also sculpts the chest through various surgical techniques, thereby preventing any indentations or hollows in the chest and giving it an athletic shape.

Performed by body sculpting pioneer Dr. Jason Emer, in conjunction with his team of plastic surgeons, the procedure involves Hi-Definition Liposculpture and fat removal via small, barely noticeable incisions beneath the areola and in the armpit; skin and gland removal; surgical resection of the enlarged and painful breast glandular tissue; lifting the chest; and raising the nipple with minimal scarring. The fat removed from the breast area (and surrounding localized fatty areas) is purified, enhanced with growth factors and platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and later used to sculpt and contour the entire chest through fat grafting. The results of this combined reconstructive procedure are a long-term shape, a more athletic, defined chest, a lifted, sculpted upper body, and renewed confidence.
